TEN Connect Code of Conduct

 

All TEN Connect members agree to abide by the following code of conduct at all times as representatives of the TEN Connect community.

 

1 - No hate speech or bullying

Make sure that everyone feels safe. Bullying of any kind isn't allowed, and degrading comments about things such as race, religion, culture, sexual orientation, gender or identity will not be tolerated.

 

2 - Be kind and courteous

We're all in this together to create a welcoming and high value community. Let's treat everyone with respect. Healthy debates are natural, but kindness is required.

 

3 - No selfish promotion and spam

Give more to this community than you take. Selfish self-promotion, spam and irrelevant links aren't allowed. Please do make use of the features and tools we provide to promote yourself in a respectful and symbiotic way and ensure you engage with others.

4 - Respect everyone's privacy

Being part of this community requires mutual trust. Authentic, expressive discussions make groups great, but may also be sensitive and private. What's shared in the group should stay in the group.

 

5 - Due diligence

You must take FULL responsibility for the connections you make in this group. It’s your responsibility to conduct appropriate due diligence on whoever you connect and refer.

6 - Do not break FCA rules

Familiarise yourself with FCA financial promotion rules as anyone breaking these will have their post/comments removed. You cannot promote financially any investment opportunity in this group online or offline to members at events or by approaching privately without their invitation. Soliciting to recruit introducers to private investors is also strictly prohibited and will result in you being removed from TEN Connect.

8 - You understand this is a networking community

This is NOT a pitching for investment community nor is it a place to introduce any kind of deal to investors. TEN Connect is about building relationships with other entrepreneurs, investors and service providers and creating a safe and engaging ecosystem for entrepreneurs to thrive in.

9 - TEN Connect Confidentiality

TEN Connect is a private community only accessible to its paying clientele. Any services, products, events or information provided to you by TEN Connect belongs to TEN Connect and its operational company, The Entrepreneurs Network Ltd. All written and oral information and materials disclosed or provided by TEN Connect to you, the Information Receiver, under this Agreement is Confidential Information regardless of whether it was provided before or after the date of this Agreement or how it was provided to you. TEN Connect reserves the right to pursue any legal remedies available to it in the event that confidential information is disclosed to individuals or entities outside of the community.
